Frank Lombardo – Worship Leader/Administrator
Area of Ministry
I plan and lead in worship through music. I love all types of music and enjoy singing and leading music about God’s love/greatness/forgiveness as well as to God, for He is Worthy! I also lead a Praise Choir, Praise Team and various soloists and instrumentalists in Music Worship.
I gave my life to the Lord during a youth choir tour, when I was seventeen.
I received my music training at the University of Mobile and also hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as a master’s degree in counseling.
My wife, Rhetta, and I were married in 1969. We have two wonderful daughters and two precious granddaughters. I have also been blessed with a remarkable son-in-law.
I answered God’s call to serve Him in Music Ministry at the age of 18 and have enjoyed the wonderful people, the journey and the experiences God has blessed me with.
In my free time, I love camping with my family, photography, racquetball, and sitting on my back porch just watching the birds eat at one of the many feeders in my back yard.
What might people find surprising about you?
I didn’t know about nor meet my biological father until I was twenty five.
I really enjoy cooking.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
”Some people are heroes to strangers, but strangers to their children.”
What was your most embarrassing moment at church?
When reviewing the video of the dedication of our new church Sanctuary, I discovered that I was humming during the meet-and-greet time….”The Adam’s Family”! (Not a clue why)
